Project Background - The operations manager responsible for the planning and procurement of furniture for Vivid’s move to its new UK HQ in NW1 had recently moved to Vivid from a company to which Whiteleys is the incumbent supplier. Vivid had received a furniture quotation from its incumbent supplier and it was at this point that Whiteleys was contacted. The project remit was for quality furniture but at a more competitive price and to be delivered and installed within a quick timescale.
Furniture - The requirement was to accommodate colleagues in a large open-plan office with various meeting rooms providing space for break-out meetings. The furniture for the main office was a combination of crisp-white bench desk systems and electric height adjustable desks. Rather than under-desk pedestals, the customer opted for matching lockers for storage, which also served as a useful way to divide-up the space within the main office.
As well as the office furniture, meeting room tables and chairs, Whiteleys were asked to move notice boards and handle other requests that surfaced. The team at Vivid were very pleased with Whiteleys’ speed and flexibility in accommodating all of the requests and installing on schedule.
